CMP & Accessories Supervisor (Garment Industry)
✔️ Work Location: Part of Lot I/3, Street No.7, Vinh Loc Industrial Park, Binh Tan, HCM,
✔️ Report To: Outsource & Sourcing Manager
✔️ Working Time: 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri
Role Overview:
The CMP Supervisor oversees external suppliers responsible for CMP, Accessories, Outsource Print, ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with the company’s standards. They act as the bridge between the in-house team and external service providers, coordinating logistics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that outsourced processes align with the company’s production and aesthetic goals while optimizing costs.
Main Task:
1. Supplier Management
Source, evaluate, and develop CMP and accessories suppliers. Ensure compliance with company standards, capacity, and quality requirements.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and performance targets. Maintain supplier records, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to legal and sustainability standards.
2. Development & Coordination
Work closely with the Commercial and Sourcing teams during product development.
Ensure suppliers receive accurate tech packs and requirements, manage sampling, review and approve samples, and coordinate with related teams for updates, changes, and approvals.
3. Production Planning & Tracking
Plan supplier capacity, raw materials, and shipment schedules in coordination with the Planning Department.
Monitor progress from cutting to packing, update production tracking reports, and ensure all processes follow PP meeting outcomes and delivery timelines.
4. Quality Control & Defects
Coordinate with suppliers’ QC teams and in-house QA to ensure consistent product quality.
Track inspection reports, handle quality issues, negotiate corrective actions or discounts, and ensure defect rates meet KPI targets.
5. Database & Cost Management
Update ERP and relevant systems (sample plans, bulk plans, master plans, contracts).
Support cost matrix development, analyze variances in cost or lead time, and work with Finance and related teams to resolve issues promptly.
6. Reports & Payments
Oversee CMP Daily and Monthly Reports, including WIP tracking and supplier performance summaries.
Coordinate with Finance on invoice submission, payment follow-up, and penalty settlements within the required timeline.
7. SOP, ISO & Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, ISO standards, and 6S practices.
Update documentation regularly, promote transparency, and ensure no conflict of interest in supplier relations.
8. Training & Development
Organize and deliver training programs for internal teams and suppliers on company standards, quality expectations, and process improvements.
Encourage skill enhancement and monitor training effectiveness.
9. Leadership & Team Performance
Lead and develop the CMP team; set KPIs, monitor results, and drive continuous improvement.
Promote teamwork, responsibility, and a positive working environment, balancing performance and well-being.
10. Communication & ICM Participation
Represent the CMP team in Initial Concept Meetings to ensure alignment on technical requirements, risks, and customer expectations.
Facilitate clear and timely communication between internal teams and external vendors throughout development and production.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in fashion management, supply chain management, or related field.
4+ years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing outsourcing processes.
Strong understanding of embellishment techniques and quality control. Have experience in Planning/ Sourcing/ Outsourcing
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Strong understanding of Garment field, Technical and embellishment techniques, Production process, Quality control and Planning.
Strategic thinking and ability to develop long-term strategies.
Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Problem-solving skills, time management skills, human management skills.
Risk management - Analytical/extensive experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management.
Good MS office
Fluent in English both verbal and written
